Our Mission
Our mission is to involve the people of Courtown Riverchapel and its enviorns in the promotion of the recreational, enviornmental, educational, cutural and economic welfare of the whole community. Courtown Community Council undertake to investigate and to carry out to the best of their ability, the ways and means of developing and protecting our enviornment in such a way as to provide a healthy and sustainable local amentiy, for both the people who live here and those who come to visit.
Courtown Community Council (RCN: 20043414) works on a range of projects from Governance, Conservation & Habitat Restoration, Public Amenities, Social Wellbeing, Collaborations, Community Development, and much more in order to support and grow our local community. We endeavour to work with honesty, transparency and integrity.

A Smart Village Strategy
3 Enviornmental Awards Including 1st Prize for Best Community Coastal Management Initiative 2022 and 2nd Prize in 2023 at the Keep Wexford Beautiful Awards
Over 2000 Meters of Woodland Walkway restored with Wexford Walking Trails
33730 Trees Planted in our local area with Seal Rescue Ireland!
